A Grade II* Listed Building in South Luffenham, Rutland

Church of St Mary The Virgin, South Luffenham

Filled in north steps to the road. I imagine this was done in 1901 to provide a pleasant walk around the church, rather than preventing children rushing out onto a road thick with dangerous horse-drawn traffic. To the left, the gable end of listed 13 The Street, to the right the north doorway. (Photo Aug 2008).
