Church of St Giles

Chest tomb. Dated 1842 in memory of George Braginton. Hard purple-coloured
metamorphic stone. Chest tomb is rectangular in plan. It sits on a moulded plinth
and its flat lid has moulded edges. All sides contain a single rectangular panel.
The southern panel is inscribed with Roman serif upper and lower case lettering and
records the deaths of George Braginton in 1842 and Richard Braginton in 1850.
