House. Mid-late C18 with later extension. Rubble sandy limestone with
tooled quoins; glazed timber porch; pantile roof with brick stacks.
Originally single cell, direct-entry plan, with later extension. 2-storey,
2-window front, with 2-storey, one-bay extension set back to right. C20
gabled porch in right bay of main house; plank door within. At left an
enlarged 2-light, 12-pane casement. 2-light, large-pane casements to first
floor. Coped gables and shaped kneelers. End left stack. Windows in
extension are C20 and have timber lintels. End right stack. Rear: 2-light,
12-pane horizontal-sliding sash to first floor. Interior: chamfered beam
with run-out stops and chamfered square-section joists to main ground-floor
room. Fireplace lintel on cyma-moulded corbels survives.
