My visit to my Hort family home "Ragged Castle" in 2018. John Hort and his wife Ann and 8 children lived here from at least 1841 when they appear on the UK census, up until John's death in 1881. John and Ann were my 4 times Great Grandparents. Their son my 3 times Great Grandfather Samuel came to Australia in 1853. Some photos are attributed to other people and some my own.
