Pair of cottages. Mid C19. Brick, in Flemish bond; gabled-end slate roof.
Single-depth plan. Right-hand end stack. 2 storeys.
Front: 4-window range, two 16-pane horizontal sliding sash windows and 2-light
casement windows to each floor all under depressed window arches. Blocked window
above door to Rose Cottage. Simple canopy to both front doors. Included for group
value, especially with Elmside, Bass's Orchard and Lavender Cottage (q.v.).
