The pedestal is from the original building of the Manor. The statue dates from 1948 to 1966 when Jesuits had the Manor. Behind the statue is the 'Dutch Canal' a rectangular pond whose main purpose was to delight the eye with a reflected view of the Manor's cupola. (Photo Aug 2007).
