Barn, latterly two houses, now one. Dated 1607 with mid- to late C19 alterations and additions. Timber framed with red brick nogging; dressed red sandstone and red brick additions; stone slate roof, with catslide over partial outshut to rear. L-plan; three framed bays with C19 wing to west. Two storeys and gable-lit attic. Brick ridge stack to wing at rear.

Framing: square-panels, six from sole-plate to wall-plate. East front: four windows to first floor, one-, two- and three-light C20 metal casements; C20 boarded door between first and second windows from left; full-height porch to north has jettied gable with probably restored shaped brackets and bressumer dated "JULY 9 SF NK 1607", and C20 boarded door with ogee head. Much of the carved detail such as in the porch is of late C19 appearance, either new or replacing earlier timbers.

Interior not inspected, but likely to be of interest.
