Laithe house. Early C19. Watershot masonry, stone slate roof. 2 storeys,
2-cell house. North front has quoins, mistal doorway with tie-stones; semi-
circular arched cart entry (blocked) with Venetian window over to barn. House
has 2 bays of 5-light flat faced mullioned stepped windows to each floor.
Quoins, coped gable. Single storey gabled outshut breaks forward part buried in
ground, probably for cellar. Rear has doorway taken out of 1st stepped window.
2nd cell has stepped window. 1st floor is blind. Semi-circular-cart entry and
mistal doorway with tie-stones. One stack to ridge between the 2 cells.
