II
House - Early C19. Stucco on rubble walls; rubble stacks with exposed brick
chimmey shafts; slate roof. Two room front block with stacks in site walls facing
north east. Double-depth plan with central cross passage and stairs off to north
west side. Parallel axial roofs. Two storeys Three window front on plain plinth;
flanking sixteen-pane sashes and central twelve-pane sash over front door all
without horns - six panel door overlight with glazing bars, panelled reveals and
plain wooden door case with pilasters and entablature. Original iron gutters have
lions mask joints. Roof hipped each side. Much original joinery and fittings
inside.
