House, now shop. C15 core, with facade largely early C19.
Painted brick with exposed timbering in upper storey, plain
tiled roof. 2 storeys with gabled attic dormers over, 4-window
range. 6-panelled door with overlight to right, and 2 wood
mullioned and transomed windows with deep segmentally-arched
heads to left. Upper windows are 2-light casements. Band of
close-studded timbering above these windows. 2 wide gabled
dormers over. INTERIOR: remains of medieval roof structure
said to survive inside.
