House, now pair of shops. C16. Render over timber-frame with
plain tiled roof. 2 storeys, 2-window range. Central door with
canopy hood over flanked by shop windows with small panes.
Upper windows are 2-light horizontal sliding sashes. Stack
towards rear. Rear wing in separate occupation: exposed
timber-framing partly renewed to ground floor, and panel
infill part replaced by glazing. Small inserted shop front and
separate doorway, with horizontal sliding sash window in
jettied first floor. Framing in lower gable wall is square
panelling with long raking braces and very heavy timbering.
