Terrace wall on east side of
Memorial Gardens

GV II

Terrace wall incorporating garden shelters and ancillary
buildings. c1927, probably by T Wallis Gordon, City Engineer.
Rockfaced stone, with reconstituted stone balustrade and
dressings. Approx 100m long. Retaining wall with balustrade
and intermediate piers. Projecting centre with 3
segment-arched openings forming a garden shelter. At each end,
doors and small windows to toilets and storerooms.
