End of a wall with gateway or door jambstones. Medieval or C17
gritstone blocks, upper part rebuilt, lower stones weathered,
9 courses high, the lower 4 jambstones have the corner cut
away and the remains of a socket; iron fittings in 3rd stone
from bottom. The upper 5 jambstones are cut back for door
rebate; the chamfer is straight cut in C17 style.
