--5-- One of the Belvoir Angels headstones by a Hickling craftsman. Rectangular slate with raised letters and 2 round-faced winged angels, -Remember Thy End- . Peter Hemsley d. October 4th 1727 aet 69. Poem: -Who would not but fear deathwhich is so bould/ That takes away the breath of young and old/ But be not so concernd nor so complain/ Because I hope that we shall meet again/ With conscience pure I hope to see Gods face/ And rise again to glorifie his grace/ Do not for me so long in tears remain/ Make sure of Christ and death will be your gain-.
