House. C17 with later C18/early C19 additions. Front elevation: Ironstone
ashlar. Welsh slate roof, 2 stone end stacks. Stone copings. Deep moulded wooden
eaves cornice. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic, 4-window range. Off-centre
panelled door to left has overlight. Stone porch has paired columns and moulded
entablature. A sash to left and 2 sashes to right. First floor and attic have 4
sash windows. All windows have stone sills and keystoned stone surrounds. Right
end has keystoned round headed windows. Rear: Early range: regular coursed
ironstone, moulded Welsh slate roof, brick stacks, C20 porch to ground floor. 2-
and 3-light metal casements to attic have wooden lintels. Nesting boxes in
gable. Stone copings. Interior: C18 part has moulded plaster cornice and beam.
Wreathed hand rail to stair. Picture rails. Earliest part has inglenook
fireplace with chamfered bressumer and stone flag floors. History: C17 rear part
noted as Dnce being an inn.
