Semi-detached villas. c. 1845. Yellow and brown stock bricks
set in Flemish bond with stucco dressings; Welsh-slate hipped
roof with overhanging eaves, and centre stacks. Side-hall
entrance plan with staircase. Two storeys, basement and attic;
2 windows each, including narrower 1-window recessed entrance
bay. Three-storey full-height brick pilasters articulate inner
bay. Steps rise to prostyle Ionic portico in outer bay:
doorway with pilaster jambs carrying corniced-head, original
2-panelled door and rectangular over-light. Gauged brick flat
arches to sashes. Ground-floor 2/2 sashes with margin lights,
set in gauged-brick elliptical-arched recess linked by stucco
impost band. Stucco sill bands to upper storeys. First floor
full-length 6/6 sashes; attic with 6/6 sashes to entrance bay
and 4/8 sashes to inner bay. Boxed cornice.
