Cottage. Dated 1746. Plastered stone rubble; stone rubble stack and chimneyshaft;
asbestos tile roof, formerly thatch.
Plan: 2-room plan cottage facing south-west. It has a central entrance hall. The
right room is unheated. The left one has a gable-end stack. 2 storeys with a
secondary outshot on the right end.
Exterior: symmetrical 3-window front of late C19-early C20 casements with glazing
bars. Central doorway contains a late C19-early C20 plank door behind a
contemporary gabled porch. Roof is gable-ended.
Interior: was not available for inspection at the time of this survey although the
owner reported that there was no carpentry detail exposed and that some timbers have
been replaced.
