Cottage. Circa late C17, extended in late C20. Rendered, probably cob walls to
original cottage. Hipped thatched roof. Rendered brick axial stack, formerly left-
hand gable stack.
Originally 2 room plan with 1 heated room and to left with gable end stack central
entrance, possibly passage. Late C20 1 room extension to left end.
2 storeys. Asymmetrical 5 window front, original cottage to right has symmetrical 3
window front with central door. All C20 3-light casements with glazing bars.
Gabled thatched C20 porch has part glazed stable door. Late C19/early C20 outshut
against right end of house.
Interior: The 2 original rooms have rough fairly substantial cross beams, in the
left-hand room the beam has a narrow chamfer. The fireplace in that room has a
roughly chamfered wooden lintel. Roof space not inspected but the feet of
insubstantial straight principals visible on first floor.
