Tower south aspect. Probably late Anglo Saxon first stage (details of the top of this lancet and the first string course). Lower two stages are of uncoursed rubble, the upper stages coursed and squared. The arched twin lancet could be a Norman insertion into a saxon second stage. (Photo Jul 2007).
