Farmhouse. Mid-late C17 with possible older origins, altered C19 and C20. Ironstone ashlar with limestone dressings, thatch and slate roofs, brick end and ridge chimney stacks. Central 2-storey canted bay window becoming dormer above eaves. This window has retained a mullion - all the others have been replaced. 4-panel door to left of centre with hollow and wave-moulded limestone surround. Footscraper niche to right of door. The window to the left of the door has a C19 segmental-arched brick lintel. (Photo Feb 2013).
