Now the Leeds City Museum it has been The Civic Theatre and College of Music, and was built in 1865-68 as an Institute of Science and Art by Cuthbert Broderick. Italianate and Second Empire French influence. Constructed of Yorkshire millstone grit blocks, shaped and smoothed. (Photo May 2008).
