Semi-detached houses. c1850. Stucco, roofs of slate, that to
No.2 turnerised.
2 storeys over basement, plus dormers to main block, 3-storey
entrance wing set back to side, in the manner of an Italianate
villa; 2-and-a-half window range, a blank central window
shared between the houses. Quoins to main and entrance wings.
Flat-arched porch with engaged antae and entablature; doorcase
with overlight and studded doors of original design, but with
upper panels now glazed on both houses; canted bay to basement
and ground floor, that to No.1 with bracketed balcony and
cast-iron railings; storey band; flat-arched tripartite
windows to first floor of main wing, round-arched to entrance
wing on first and second floors, those to second floor with
cast-iron balconettes; bracketed eaves; hipped roof to main
block, pyramidal to entrance wing; central stack and stack to
entrance wing of No.2.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Low garden walls and square, stuccoed corniced gate piers.
