Terraced houses. c1855. Stucco, roof obscured by parapet.
4 storeys over basement, 3-window range. The house fronts
consist of full-height, and almost full-width, segmental bays,
with paired porches. Ground floor decorated with banded
rustication; flat-arched porch with pilasters and entablature;
doorcase with overlight, and panelled door of original design
to Nos 9 and 13-14; all windows flat-arched; first- and
second-floor windows have moulded stucco architraves, and the
first-floor windows to No.7 have blind boxes; bracketed
balconies to first floor with bowed cast-iron railings; No.8
has individual cast-iron balconies to the second and third
floors; moulded stucco cornice above second-floor windows;
subsidiary cornice to third floor; blocking course; stacks to
party walls. INTERIOR: not inspected.
Balustrade with vase balusters flanking steps up to porches,
and between square stuccoed and corniced gate piers except to
No.11.
