Villa, now 2 dwellings. c1838-1850 with later additions and
alterations. Pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond with ashlar
dressings and cast-iron verandah.
2 storeys with attic, 3 first-floor windows. Quoins. Central
entrance, 7 roll-edged steps to board door between pilaster
strips and margin-lights with glazing bars, overlight. Ground
floor has two 2/2 sashes with margin-lights. First floor: 1/1
sashes with margin-lights, in plain reveals, with sills, flat
rusticated arches with central keystones. Frieze, dentil
cornice. Tall end and rear stacks, that to left with cornice.
Central roof dormer. To right return are similar windows with
blind boxes.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms an architectural group with No.15 (qv).
