GV II

House, now flats. c1838-1850 with later additions and
alterations including range to rear. Reddish-brown brick in
Flemish bond, with ashlar dressings, cement-tile roof and
cast-iron verandah.
2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Quoins. First floor: 1/1
mock sashes with side-lights under flat, rusticated arches and
raised keystone. Ground floor: 5 roll-edged steps to central
entrance a part-glazed, 6-panel door with side-lights with
glazing bars and pilaster strips and divided overlight. Tall
2/2 sashes with side-lights in plain reveals under flat,
rusticated arches with keystones. Low parapet, copings, end
stacks. Ground floor has continuous verandah with anthemion
motif balustrade.
