House, at one time a butchers shop. Early C19, with later
alterations. Rusticated and scored stucco; gabled Welsh slate
roof with rebuilt brick stack to front of ridge. 3-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Channelled rustication to
ground floor with plat band over, and plain eaves. Altered
ground floor has entrance to left of centre with C20 door and
passageway entrance to right end leading to entrance to
No.251A; entrance flanked by 2 windows with C20 leaded
casements, one replacing shop window and entrance. First floor
has 3 windows with C20 3-light leaded casements.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
