I believe this photo was taken at the dedication in 1921. My grandfather, Rev. J.E. McIntosh, was minister at the Free Church in Canonbie at the time and left in 1924. I have several other photos which show a ceremony. If not the dedication, then a Remembrance Day ceremony between the date of the dedication and 1924 when he moved to his next posting in Dumfries.
