The mace bearing dignitary wears an earls coronet. The master builder is not a contemporary caricature of Sir George Gilbert Scott, however. At the top of the window -Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord- (for from their labours they shall have eternal rest - Revelations 14.13) (Photo Oct 2010).
