Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, St Winifred

A Grade II* Listed Building in Amlwch, Isle of Anglesey

Our Lady Star of the Sea & St Winifride

Uploader's Comments

Designed by Guiseppe Rinvolucri, who may or may not have been an Italian PoW from WWI (depending on what sources you read)who stayed on after the war and married a Welsh lady. The date of the church's construction is also somewhat unclear and is variously identified as the 30s, 1935 or 1937.
This is a view from the rear of the church looking towards Bull Bay Road
