3/28 Manor Cottage and The Hunting

GV II
Cottage, now divided into 2 occupations. Probably late C17 or early C18. Painted
rendered stone rubble and cob. Slate roof with gable ends. Brick stack at right
gable end and stone rubble stack heightened in brick to gable end of rear wing.
Plan: front range of 2 rooms with direct entry into larger right-hand heated room,
with 2 storey gable-ended service wing towards rear left end. Outshut to rear of
right-hand room with entrance at right end.
Exterior: 2 storeys. 2 light casements, that to right probably C18 with
rectangular leaded panes. Similar casements to right gable end and to rear of main
range at left end. C20 lean-to porch with slate roof. Plank door at left end.
Interior: not inspected.
