C18. Gable end to road. 2 storeys in coursed stone with pantile roof with 3
stone coped verges with kneelers. Brick chimney stacks. Gable end has 1 hung
sash window with glazing bars on 2 floors and rectangular bay to ground floor.
West elevation has 3 windows each to 2 occupancies, most hung sashes with glazing
bars, those to Southern occupancy with stone lintels with keystones. Band between
storeys. Similar windows to ground floor. Rusticated quoins. Cavetto moulded
eaves cornice. Formerly the George Hotel.

Nos 15 and 16, 16A, 17 to 23 (consec) 33 to 38 (consec) and St George's House,
form a group with Nos 40 to 48 (consec) of which Nos 16, 17, 19, 23 and 25, 35
and 36, 38 and 47 and 48 are buildings of local interest.
