25 and 26, Dawlish Street

A Grade II Listed Building in Teignmouth, Devon

No. 25 Dawlish Street

Uploader's Comments

In spite of its neat, square, Georgian appearance this house is actually made of cob (earth) and probably dates back to the early 18th century. It was remodelled in period style in the early 19th century with dramatic changes to the façade. Some of the listing details are incorrect; the roof is now of slate, not asbestos, for example. The bow window is still original whilst others in the street have been replaced.
