4/315 Barn range at Turleigh Farmhouse


GV II


Range of barn and stables, C18, rubble stone and some ashlar with
Bridgwater tiled roofs. South end barn with coped south gable and
hipped east side projecting cart-entry to left of centre. Lean-to
stalls to right. Rear wall has small door to centre, boarded
window to right and eaves loading door to left. Slightly canted
range attached to north, former stables and loft, rubble stone at
south end, ashlar to north with coped gables, two rear wall eaves
loading doors and, to front, an ashlar lean-to to left and stable
door flanked by windows to ashlar section to right. Barn has tie-
beam and collar trusses, two wide bays and three narrow bays to
roof.
