House, C17 and mid to later C18, roughcast rubble stone with stone
tiled mansard roof, hipped at south end. Large south end stack
between front range and parallel rear range. Two storeys and
attic, 2-window range. One hipped dormer to front. Raised
south-west angle quoins. Two upper 4-pane sashes in moulded
architraves to west front and one similar on south return wall.
Ground floor left block rusticated archway to left with inserted 6-
panel door, plate glass sash to right in moulded architrave.
Similar sash to ground floor of south return wall. South return
wall has had roughcast removed. Old photographs show shop window
in place of ground floor window. Rear range has mansard roof to
east, hipped dormer, first floor 3-light recessed ovolo-moulded
window.
