Two houses, one c1700, painted brick with hipped thatched roof
attached to lower painted brick and timber-frame thatched cottage
range, C17, altered. Front house, No 60, is square plan, two-
storey with east stack and rear stack. Two window front with
moulded brick string course. Casement pair and triple casement
above. Door and altered triple casement below. Door in added
hipped porch. Rear range, No 59, is 1 1/2 storeys with ridge stack
and east end stack. Main part is painted brick with eyebrow to
left over triple casement each floor, blocked central door and
triple casement to right. Slightly lower east end range has
exposed heavy framing with brick and plaster panels. Triple
casement to left, casement pair to right. Rubble east wall and
rear wall. Rear of main part is weatherboarded.
