Village school, 1850 by Salway of Chippenham, coursed rubble stone
with slate roof. One storey schoolroom and 2-storey house range at
south end. Flush quoins. Schoolroom has 2 gables over 3-light
mullion and transom windows with hoodmoulds and ashlar gabled porch
to left with Tudor-arched doorway. Plaque 'National School MDCCCL'
to one gable. House has 2-storey east gable front with 2 south
wall diagonal stacks and rear west end stack. One 2-light mullion
window with hoodmould to each floor of east front.
