II
Semi-detached cottage. Late C18. Plastered cob and brick, hipped
thatched roof, brick axial stack. Formerly pair of cottages, now
one L-plan cottage. 2-storey, 2-window front. C20 door in
thatched porch, to left is one 2-light casement and to right are
two 2-light casements, one inserted in blocked doorway. Right
return is windowless. Rear has two 2-light casements and French
windows to ground floor to left, with C20 kitchen extension to
right, first floor has two 2-light casements.
Interior has central back-to-back open fireplaces with chamfered
lintels, chamfered ceiling beams with ogee stops.
