GV II

Farmhouse. Late C18. Squared, coursed limestone with quoins. Stone slate roof
with brick end stack. 2 storeys plus attic; 3-window range. L-shaped plan. Plank
door in larder lean-to to left. To left and right of first floor, and to ground
floor left, a C20 two-light casement. Original wood lintels. To ground floor
right a C20 three-light casement. One-light casement to immediate left. Wood
lintel. To ground floor centre a large cross casement with wood lintel. To right
of building a one-storey stone range with stone slate roof and brick end stack.
One 2-light casement with wood lintel. 2 gabled dormers. Interior: chamfered
spine beams with run-out stops. Large open fireplace with chamfered bressumer.
Early, heavily moulded, spine bem with moulded bar-stopped chamfer, probably
reset. C18 plank doors, and C18 spiral staircase with original gate at bottom.
Stone flagged floors.
