14/52 Blacksmith's Cottage

GV II

House. Dated 1794, with probable earlier origins. Squared coursed limestone with
quoins. Stone-slate roofs with stone end stacks. 3-unit plan. 2-storey, 3-window
range of 2- and 3-light casements with wood lintels to ground floor centre and
left, and stone flat arches to right. Plank door with wood lintel to rear.
Datestone with moulded hood to first floor centre is inscribed: 'M/IM/1794'.
Large C20 extension to left. Interior: said to have spine beams.
