House. Early C19 with additions of 1991 and 1992. Gault brick,
now painted, slate roof. L shaped plan. 2 storeys. Front N
elevation: 2 window range and central doorway, roof hipped at
W end. Stacks at E and W ends. Doorcase, wooden, cornice hood,
ogee and hollow chamfer moulded architrave, consoles. Door has
4 moulded panels, overlight with glazing bars, 3 panes. Ground
floor, 3x4 paned sash window, also C20, early C19-style bow
window on bracket, 6x4 panes. First floor, casement windows
with glazing bars, lower, 3x3 panes fixed, upper 3x1 panes
hinged. Rear S elevation: paired gabled wings. To W original,
with deep boarded eaves, exterior gable stack, 3 C20 casement
windows glazing bars, 2x4 panes. To E built 1992, ground floor
French window and side lights, 12x5 panes, first floor,
3-light casement window 6x3 panes. Ground floor on W side,
slated gabled addition facing W built 1991 with fully glazed
door and 3-light casement both with glazing bars, 2
sky-lights. E and W side elevations masked by lean-to sheds.
