House. C18 front to C16 or earlier house. Probably timberframed but east front
faced with painted mathematical tiles, north front of sandstone; slate roof with
end clustered brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys and attics; 3 windows. Deep
modillion cornice above 1st floor with 3 gables above. 1st floor has central
Venetian window. This is flanked by 2 centred bay through both floors with glazing
bars intact and pediments over. Central projecting porch with pediment on wooden
piers, flanked by 12 pane sashes. Rusticated doorcase with 6 fielded panelled door
up 5 steps. 1 storey C19 extensions to right hand side. Interior inspection not
permitted at time of survey.
