C18 or earlier. Irregular pair of cottages, evidently timber-framed. Each has
a 2-storey gabled front, that of No 26 angled back, on the curve of the street.
Painted render. One sash of Victorian type to each above and Victorian or later
shopfront below. Re-tiled roofs. External chimney at north end with upper part
removed, single offset below. No 26 extends less far to the rear than No 28 but
has a smaller gable extension. Exposed timbers of ground floor interior show much
renewal.
