House. Late C16 with C17 extensions. Timber framed, underbuilt in whitewashed
brick to front with whitewashed brick infill above. Slate front pitch on roof,
plain tiled on rear. Two square panel framed wings with render infilling, on
sandstone rubble plinths and with outer pitches of roof slate, to rear, one with
re-used timbers. At right angles to street: three bay front range with parallel
wings at right angles to rear. Two storeys with attic in rear right hand wing.
Three framed bays to front with corbelled rebuilt stack to rear left of centre.
Arched bracing on first floor; two windows on each floor, those below under
tiled break. Door to right; pentice extension to left with further door. Wings
to rear with one leaded casement in each floor, three under C20 drip boards.
Undergoing restoration at time of re-survey.
