Now 2 small shops. C18. 2 storeys and attic. 3 windows. 2 dormers. Faced
with rough cast. Slate roof. No 168 has a modern window and shop window.
No 170 has 2 windows on 1st storey with narrow glazing bars intact. Large
projecting hood over ground floor. 3 sided bay window with glazing bars
intact except for top most section. White tiles below window. In 1950,
window had detachable sections. 1 modern window on ground floor to west,
and 1 contemporary sash window with glazing bars to extreme west. The back
portion of No 170 is timber-framed and oversails on the 1st floor facing
Dene Street.
