Northern part (The Golden Wheel). Small timber-framed cottage refaced with plaster
in front and the north side largely painted brick, but some timbering visible
in its ground floor. Slate roof. 3-light window in the splayed north west angle
of the 1st floor. The other windows are ordinary sash windows with the glazing
bars intact. Small shop window on ground floor of west front. Southern part
(The Limes) is an C18 2-storey, 2-window cottage of wide proportions. Red brick
with hipped tiled roof. Sash windows with glazing bars in new wood frames do
not quite fit the old cambered arches. Trellis-work wood porch with hipped wood
roof. A modern projecting porch has been added to north part.

Nos 8 to 12 (even) form a group.
