C16 and later. 3 cottages, originally timber framed. Fronts altered in C18.
2 gable ends. Tile roof. 3 chimneys, one at right with diagonally set shafts
above massive shouldered projection. Near-flush-frame casement windows, mainly
4-light, one at 1st floor of No 48 with small panes remaining. Elliptical
brick panel in pediment at centre of parapet. 1st floor overhangs with 4
later bays on ground floor finishing under soffit. Original plain C16 door
with wide frame and spurs, in centre of building. East half of front roughcast.
