Handed pair of cottages. Early C19. Whitewashed brick with low pitched slate
roofs and corbelled end stacks. Two storeys with one first floor 12-pane,
glazing-bar sash window to each cottage; that to left with Venetian shutters,
that to right with pierced trefoil panels in shutters. Similar windows on the
ground floor under gauged brick heads. C19 doors either side of centre in porch
recesses. Both doors panelled and under overlights with margin tracery. No. 10,
to right, has flat hood over on iron brackets. Part of a picturesque group around
the churchyard of the Church of Holy Trinity.
