GV II

Stable block now houses. Dated 1743. Sandstone rubble with brick quoins
and dressings and hipped plain tiled roof. Wooden lead covered lantern,
square with clock face to north and south sides and arched openings above,
under ribbed dome and gilt sphere finial. Originally to centre of roof,
now to right of centre as end bay to left has been demolished. Two
storeys on brick and stone plinth with plat band over ground floor to
gabled break with brick on edge coping.

Entrance front: elliptical gauged brick arch to first floor right of
centre with keystone. One casement window to either side on first floor
and further casement window to end right. Four windows on ground floor
under cambered heads. C20 single storey extension to left. Door to
right of gabled break under flat hood on wooden supports.

Rear: Stilted gauged brick arch to gabled break with keystone, cornice
across base of gable. Keys toned gauged brick elliptical arch to first
floor, one cambered head, leaded casement window to each side of centre.
Further first floor windows to left and right. C20 hipped roof wing
containing squash courts to left.

Former stables to C18 house.
