1/53 Hatchers

House. Late C16/early C17 with early C19 alterations and extensions to ends and
rear. Timber frame to centre, exposed, of thin scantling with whitewashed brick
infilling, whitewashed brick extension; plain tiled roofs, hipped over centre.
Central 2 storey block with single storey wings to ends and longer, narrower, parallel
range to rear. Central stack with oversailing top. 3 framed bays to centre with
2 casement windows on first floor, blocked older window to centre. 2 angle-bay windows
with arched tracery bars, either side of central square bay casement in former entrance,
all under continuous pentice roof extending across ground floor. One 3-light casement
window in left hand wing and one to right. Ribbed door in porch recess with arched
entrance to right. Garage doors to right end. Further door to left hand range.
