House, restaurant at time of listing. C15 with C19 extension to left. Timber framed on rubble-stone and rendered plinth; whitewashed brick cladding below to right, red and blue brick in extension to left, tile hung above with fishscale patterning to left. Steep pitched plain tiled roof with front ridge stack to right and left of centre. Two storeys, gable front to left jettied on first floor with curly bargeboards on brackets and spike finial; two casement windows to first floor right, one leaded triple pointed arched casement under shallow pent hood to first floor of gable; glazing bar sash window to ground floor right; double light pointed - arched casement to left. Three-quarter glazed door to right of centre, planked door to left ot centre and C20 arched and studded door in left end. Wing at right angles to rear with Crown post exposed in gable.
